Towards the end of last year, I was given my own project to oversee and maintain at Home-Start Lambeth: Rose Vouchers! Rose vouchers are free fruit and veg vouchers that can be picked up and used by low income families to purchase fruit and veg at local market vendors! 🍅🍆
This project was super exciting for me as I had been at Home-Start since 2021 and helped in loads of projects but this was my baby – the first service I am managing on my own. In my role as admin and systems officer I do lots to support my colleagues to support families, but this project is the first time I am in the service delivery hot seat! The service is available to the families we support but also to anyone who is struggling to provide their family with nutritious food. Eligibility criteria can be seen here.
