A huge thank you to our incredible Home-Start Lambeth runners who took on the Lace Up for London 5k and 10k races at Regent’s Park on Sunday 25th October!
Our dedicated team of five, made up of amazing volunteers and trustees, were up early on Sunday morning all in the name of raising money and setting some PB’s! The team collectively raised an amazing £3,727 to support our work across Lambeth!
Our runners had supporters from Home-Starts right across London coming together to cheer everyone on! They were spurred on even further by the wonderful hand-painted banners created at our pre-race coffee morning earlier in the week and some serious bell ringing from Susie, Home-Start Lambeth CEO!
Raising £3,727 is an amazing achievement, with every penny raised through this event going directly towards continuing our vital work with local families and ensuring our home-visiting volunteers can keep providing compassionate, practical and emotional support to parents and young children experiencing hardship, isolation or complex challenges.
We are immensely proud of our runners for their hard work, early morning commitment and outstanding fundraising efforts. You are all absolute legends!
