Last Friday saw us host our first ‘big’ AGM (hopefully the first of many more to come), which gave us the chance to get our volunteers, staff and trustees together with some of our wider network of partners to share the positive experiences and successes of the past 12 months.

Attendees heard about our strong fundraising performance, as well as how we’re working as part of the London network across the capital, thanks to a brilliant guest speech from Jessica Greenhalf, director of Home-Start London.

It was also a chance for us to shine the spotlight on our incredible volunteers, five of whom shared their experiences of volunteering – what inspired them to start giving their time and what continues to motivate them to keep helping families in the borough.

Finally, we were honoured to hear from one of our families, with a moving account of the difference our home visiting service makes to the lives of parents.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped pull it together and who joined us on the day!
