Christmas and music go hand in hand (we’re looking at you, Mariah and Wham, battling it out for the top spot again this year! 🎤✨). But it’s also a season for bringing people together, and this year, the incredible Brixton choir group, The Electric Belles, made HS Lambeth their charity of choice for their annual festive concert. 🥳
This choir are pure magic—if you haven’t seen them in action yet, go check them out! 🎵🌟 @electricbelleslondon
The night got even more special when one of our amazing mums took the stage to share how much our support has meant to her family. Her words were so moving that when she handed the mic back to our Chief Executive Susie, she was left completely speechless (yes, really—there’s a first time for everything!). 😲❤️
Thanks to ticket sales, delicious mince pies, and generous donations to our JustGiving page, we raised a jaw-dropping £1,650—our best-ever total for a concert! 🎉 This will go a long way in making a difference for the children we support.
A massive THANK YOU to the Electric Belles and everyone who sang, clapped, and gave so generously. You’re all absolute stars! 🌟
